New Set

The new Mars Mission sets have come out. The set I would want most would be the Crystal Reaper 7645. I have counted the treads and there are 70 of them in the new black color. And 6 orange sprockets like the ones in the bulldozer set. The price is 50 dollars. It contains 600 pieces. The below picture is not of the whole set. I have only seen it for sale in the UK. But that should change soon.

Articulated Steering

I built this to test the idea of 4 wheel steering.

My challenge is for someone to build this using the NXT. It would probably be easier not to make the middle wheels move back and forth. But it would be interesting to see how you would power the axle while it moves. If you do build it with the NXT please put it on NXTLog and comment to tell me that you put it on. How do you connect?

I am wondering what the best way to remotely control your NXT is? Also how do you control your NXT if you do. I was wondering about lowest price best functionality and easiest programming. So if you have experience with one NXT controller in specific or several than please post and tell me the pros and cons for price, functionality, programing and fun. Thanks to all who post.
